Some Great Rivalries in Sports:

On Sunday, April 29, we will be playing at 9:00 AM at St. Varten's Park (35th St, between 1st and 2nd Aves) against DCC (Department of Culture and Communication).

Cinema Studies scrimmaged against the DCC team in the preseason on April 1, at East River Park, but a deeper rivalry will play out between the two teams on Sunday morning.

Cinema Studies pitcher Juan Monroy (1-0, 1.40) said, "As a cinema studies student, I would really like to beat them because that department has been stepping on our scholarly turf in recent years, expanding to visual and cultural studies, hiring faculty from our field, raising money we should be getting, etc., etc." Issuing a challenge to the team, he asked, "Who's with me?!?"

The game will begin promptly at 9:00 AM on Sunday, April 29. To those wishing to go to the game, a free shuttle bus will depart from Coles Recreation Center (corner of Mercer and Bleecker Streets).
